I main Ryu and I've practiced my specials and can get them out consistently.
Online I am can beat people by being patient and catching what moves they keep going for but it's easy to get flustered when they're going all in
What takes me to the next level? Practicing combos that are in youtube videos? I play about 45min/1hr a day. Should I play longer? Looking for advice. Thanks

just keep playing and try to make every match a learning experience. i'd try to learn a basic punish combo but i wouldn't obsess over combos at this point. i'd watch things that tell you how your character/the game works over combo videos

So many of the most damaging combos in that game require 1f links that it can be considered and inextricable element of the system
