So I finished Burial at Sea Episode 2 today and I can see why it got a lot hate. It really comes across as fan fiction, and bad fiction at that. Right at the start there's that Rapture sex shop, which felt out of place and just an excuse to have 'funny' posters such as 'Big Daddy' and worse still, 'Sander Cohen's Gender Bender' or whatever the hell that was.
The retcon of Daisy Fitzroy's motivations was hilariously bad too. And all the retreading of Bioshock 1/Infinite events that no-one asked for.
I did enjoy a lot of the gameplay, it was interesting playing stealthy and the Peeping Tom upgrades were super useful.
Regarding the lobotomy and the ending. The lobotomy scene reeked of Levine trying to be as edgy as possible. It was still uncomfortable to sit through :'( And the ending was poor. There was no real pay off, why should we care that Liz helped push the events of Bioshock 1? It was a bad decision to link the plot so much to Bioshock 1. Just being in pre-fall Rapture for some of the DLC would have been enough.

Yea we told you, Levine knew Irrational was shutting down so he made absolutely sure that Liz was dead so no one else could use her. The writing gymnastics he had to perform to make sure the plot centred around this point made the entire end sequence crumble.
Instead about muh ace, muh sacrifice and muh Jesus chosen one wrench monkey it should have been about Liz escaping Rapture during the outbreak of the civil war with the use of limited tear abilities.
The ending of BaS made the ending of Infinite pointless. The ending of Infinite was pointless.

There will be a trailer and date at E3. I imagine it will be all 3 games with all DLC, and some fancy new resolutions/textures. I doubt there will be much more then that included, e.g. new stuff or even Bioshock 2 multiplayer.

The reason it was unclear whether Anna was in the cradle is because it wasn't clear by the end of Infinite if Comstock still existed or not due to a >grandfather paradox. Burial at Sea resolved both of these things.

No, Booker not getting baptised is actually what leads to him having Anna.
The Elizabeths drowned Booker before he could choose to be baptised or not. This prevented baptised Comstock but would also prevent regular Booker having Anna after refusing.
Booker had Anna regardless of him appearing at the baptism or not.

I think I will be able to finish Elizabeth race mod pretty soon. Still need to figure out the tinting and material stuff.
As for the game, well, they have greatly improved the engine technically, but in other ways I find it worse than new vegas. I think it has a great potential for modding though. I hope that someone will make requiem or project nevada kind of thing for it soon.

Yes, the race can be applied to npcs quite easily using CK.

I say the same thing about BaS.
I'm still studying it, and so far It looks pretty similar to the skyrim CK. You can do a lot with scripting. The tools for staging dialogs are now more sophisticated, though it's very disappointing that they limited number of choices to 4 for pc.
