Are there any wl here, I was wondering if using soul shackle t3f4 would be better in dungeon that using t3f1, since most the time people don't like bosses getting snared. Or it's only worthy getting it if you have the hm version?

Depending on the boss, if you snare it, it changes it's attacks patterns and the tank is screwed by that.

Its pretty much higher DPS single target regardless unless you're in a group that can't stack bleed to 5 on their own, which I've never seen be the case.

In more organised content, roots are in general a positive rather than a negative when you learn to abuse it, can do things like extend time between Yeti's freeze slams to let iframes refresh if doing it no-FM, for example, just need to be meshing well with your tank in coordinating it.

Personally I sometimes switch to it for the damage, but find the utility of the root more useful than the dps increase the majority of the time.

Reminder that shackle T1F3 is your only source of healing alongside rupture in a PvE build.

not the best WL but T3F4 (stage4 in game) is only a small dps boost, utility wise it make you lost 1 snare against trash/solo

overall not recommend it if you do not have T5. T5 is a very good dps boost for Helix build as it gives 3 orbs on hit and target, meaning you can cast helix and RMB {when dragoncall} non stop after you hit your shackle

Personally I dont use T5F1 because the T3 one is exactly the same except the focus regen, which is not useful for a channeling or the healing. However another thing that T5F1 can provide is high uptime of brand so you wont miss your chance of leech or if you prefer wingstorm F1 path

I think some user once said boss has snare immunity, so letting summoner snare for 8s is better for warlock's 4s snare that will constantly apply.
