Previous Pankoman Dominions is a fantasy turn-based strategy game created by two dudes. One of them is a teacher.
The game combines a simple presentation with an extremely wide array of strategic options, including over 2800 units, 800 spells and 300 magic items. Turns are resolved simultaneously, with players planning battles rather than directly controlling them.
It has simplistic graphics but is easily moddable and extremely deep.
Basically, it's an autist’s wet dream of a strategy game.

So, Summod soon will be tackling LA (well, technically it's already started to) and there's a number of issues with the era.
First and foremost is Ragha, who have better fire mages than Abysia, better seraphs than Cealum, and have ridiculous sacreds. Voice opions, ideas, etc.
To get things going, in terms of the sacreds, it's possible to make getting back the rider cost gold.

You could make the post-death gryphon rider have worse stats and equipment, to represent how they're poorly trained squires who just got on the riderless gryphon.
Andrew Ross
They already lose all xp when they get a new rider to represent this.
Costing gold to get a new rider would be good, it would mean you at least get something for "killing" a bunch of their sacreds even though they come right back after the battle.
Jackson Jenkins
Why not just make all of their shit more expensive than the abysia/caelum etc equivalents? Right now the airya seraph and turan sorceror are not only better than their equivalents, they're also substantially cheaper. A mixed-arms nation should pay more than the specialist nations, and somehow Ragha pays the same or less.
Gryphon Riders already have exploss.
Cooper Jones
Does Ulm have superior robot waifus?
Landon Thompson
Just increasing costs is an option, and will likely be done to some extent regardless of other measures.
That runs counter to the base philosophy of the immortals, that the army was always 1,000 ellite soldiers strong due to having 10,000 non-immortals fighting allongside it, then the best of those being promoted into the immortals to replace losses.
