Speaking of servers pop, how accurate is realmpop. Considering a transfer and basing it all pretty much off of realmpop and checking the official forums. I considered Aerie Peak and trying to join those Convert to Raid super guilds, but they're probably full of faggots. plus the server is pretty underpopulated.

You should just use Wowprogress to gauge realmpop, especially for PvE.

Stormrage, Sargeras, and Proudmoore are the top populated realms for Alliance raiding.

Illidan and Area 52 are by far the top for horde with Mal'ganis, Zul'jin, and Thrall being closely tied for the third highest.

Note though that like half of Illidan is Chinese, so it feels like a fragmented realm.

on a dead realm it will probably be hell to find a guild that still raids. Join groups in the group finder

Rshams are fine. Are they marginally worse than MW's? Sure, are they good enough that guilds will take you and they will be able to heal all difficulties of HFC? Yes.

Nice, okay you're at a tremendous advantage because the healer legendary ring is a non-issue so you won't really need to get it before starting mythic unlike dps, so it'll still be a couple weeks, but basically get heroic geared, jump into a 5/13M guild, get some Mythic experience and some more gear and then jump to an actual mythic guild. I should warn you though, the people doing mythic progress at this stage of an expansion are generally not that great so it can be a frustrating experience
