Long Sword (and SS in general) is stupidly powerful with the phantom range, quality scaling, and spammability. It's like they balanced the game around people using them and then just threw every other weapon type in without giving a shit.

I might have been able to spare points as a different class. I'm not sure. I chose Warrior simpy because I liked what he looked like. And I figured STR, Maces and Greatshields go hand in hand.

Are straight swords really that good? I only see dark swords and they don't seem that great; when I picked up one to use myself, I was absolutely destroyed by anyone not retarded in PvP.

Weak hyperarmor and the range isn't as great as bigger weapons. The recovery on the 2h r1 is pretty bad as well. Am I supposed to spam r1 1h'd?

Do people not put their signs down at the Oceiros fight? I'm lvl 50 but I don't see any summon signs. I just want the MGS so this stupid int build is kind of fun

Yes. Block and then spam 1HR1. Become invincible to everything except offhand Caestus, and even those too if they're having an off-day.

People in the souls series who are undead only truley die when they either give up hope completely or have achieved their goals and are completely satisfied and ready to die.

Hodrick is a fucking nutter so he will practically live forever. While someone like orbeck once he finally became a real wizard with you could die in peace.

They're all dead. All the namecalling, imposters while Anonymous, calls for bans, and general cancer killed them all.

Don't bother coming until you want to face BKG, Havelstocs, ect.

In PvE, at least, they're all you need to win the game. In PvP they have some bullshit phantom range and take minimal stamina, so they're strong. If it was the first time using the Dark Sword you might just not have been used to the move set.

Too low level, I was SL17 when I did that. You wanna know how I beat him? 100 physical shield, bandit dagger/carthus rouge. Second phase you trap him by the roots and shoot him with your Lothric Crossbow with two 99 bolts.

I was using it for PvE to get through all the bosses on my 5th character or so; I couldn't figure out to properly utilize the moveset. I think the Carthus Curved is a lot better for standing r1s and katanas are better for running r1s.

I don't see how just 1h r1s can make the kit so good unless it's coupled with something like a Havel's shield? Even then, the enemy can retaliate as you attack which.. isn't so great-- meaning carthus curved+havel's shield might be better as the r1 swings come out faster.

I'm cancerous as fuck so I use every single "broken" meta weapon, but I don't see why the dark sword is OP at all. I don't even bother leaving it in my inventory

Amazing damage, some of the best scaling in the game (It gets S when infused with elementals), low stamina usage so you can spam your R1 all day long. It's not that hard to understand. You run up, mash R1 and whatever you're locked onto dies. It's really that easy

Game's unplayable after the last patch. Freezing for 1/4 of a second everytime fucking time. Planned to play all night long but I'm annoyed as fucking hell right now. Any workaround for this until FROM fixes this shit? Because knowing them I know it'll be fucked for the entire week.
