If you think the BKGA is broken, try the BKG.

At least the BKGA has kinda shit range, is horribly slow, and is easily punished. The BKG can legit do twice more damage as a BKGA double swing in one combo.

You're clearly fighting scrubs only then. The BKGA is extremely easy to dodge and is countered hard by both fast weapons and long weapons. It only shines against weapons that have same or less reach like the other greataxes and some greatswords.
