It was Noire and Blanc dreaming about their predecessors from Uzume's era. Only Histoire's dream had Uzume in it.
It's also why Vert doesn't get a dream, because the Xbox only came into existence post-Dreamcast.
PS2-chan was probably similar to Noire in that she was hard working but she was also prone to fuck up(hardware failure), she tried to give herself several image makeovers (new versions) and more than likely was very, very lonely because she dwarfed all competition so heavily.

I can actually see that from how the scene describes her as needing to disguise herself every time she sneaks off to play in the arcades.

Also, you probably need to turn the game in English, otherwise some lines are in English and others are in your local language.

Most of the CPUs even have custom dialogue not just in general but also specifically with each other. Blanc says "You can't have Ram. Stop asking." when you talk to her as Vert.
Which is hilarious to me because in Overheat Vert did get Ram.
I hope it's worth the trouble because I'm not a big Civ player and installing all that stuff to play one mod is beyond my attention span.
The "references" is irrelevant, optional stuff. Basically the mod makes some changes to the "references" listed mods to make it compatible. If you don't have those mods, it doesn't need to make those changes, so less configuring game files.
You only need the ones where it says "depends on"
Brave New World is the last official expansion and the core files are just one thing.
I doubt so, I have Brave New World and the Core pack and the mods still won't launch. Game says it lacks "dependencies".

I just subscribed to the core files and the nep civ mods and it works fine without any of that other stuff.
If you run a pirate version (shame on you, it was on sale for 10 bucks with all dlc) that might cause issues.
I just checked, despite subscribing to the core files, they don't appear in the ingame list.
