Oracle's counterspell is a lot better than it sounds reading the tooltip, turns out it actually blocks 100% of incoming magic damage inside the AoE in addition to removing magic circles nearby. Only problem is other healers dispelling it with heal tiles but still seeing that "immune" status pop up when dealing with mages is pretty satisfying.

Kneeling shot makes Dex count as Str for everything but the crit bonus damage (a flat +str)
Dex also improves a shitton of stats that AREN'T damage, most notably dodge, the primary defensive stat in this game.

You do understand everything depends on circumstances (e.g. swordies benefit more from str whilst archers benefit more from dex) Even within the same class theres variance (e.g. str for doppel or dex for fencer)

There is no point in putting so much into vakarine. The SP statue is really useless and the person that was bitching at you is a jew who wants you to waste points instead of bringing SP potions.
If you actually go and look at every ability in the game when they are maxed out, that 32 SP reduction really does fuck all. Alongside the fact that you already have a split between Carve and SP statue makes it even worse. They can't tell how much SP is reduced with the statue unless they manually look at their SP so no one will probably notice.
Well the goal is to pvp. So I take it DEX is important for PvP then? Why?

If you play a full dex you'd realize the difference is between night and day.
Assuming you have A2 swift step.
It might not be noticeable at low levels, but at later levels when mobs hug your anus for 5k damage a hit and all your skills root you down, you're going to wish you had high evasion.

Crit + accuracy + flee > raw damage. Your damage will come from Earth Wave/Rush base damage + Yoru weapon + concetrade + gung HO.
Better crit this than get some raw damage at the cost of missing and not criting.
