How do you move out of a house you've lived in your entire life? How do you know where to go?

How do you move out of a house you've lived in your entire life? How do you know where to go?

I need to move out but I have no idea where to go

You never said "Fuck this place, someday I'm going to go live in....."?

You just leave, pack your things and leave after signing a lease to a new place

Search CL for apartments and housing.

Once you have looked at a few, then pick one.

How old is op? Find a city you want to move to. Go on Craigslist to get an idea of housing there. Save up money for a year, decide on a date to go and just do it faggot. If you dont have a car greyhound is life. Live in the ghetto for a year and work your ass off. I lived in a garage for 8 months in LA when I first got there. Only take your clothes and papers.

who's garage?

this

Why do you need to move out
I make just shy of six figures and I still haven't

just pick

what kind of weather do you want?

how much space do you need?

city or suburbs?

rent or own?

then go to zillow and find something you can afford that meets all your requirements and call the real estate broker

if you need a cheaper option then start looking for roommates with people you know or on craigslist

You have to decide if the job is going to come first or second. If it comes first then apply to jobs in the area you want to live and let them know that you're motivated and willing to move. You might need to fly out to wherever the job is to interview. Relocation will be discussed and if you're motivated they'll expect you to eat those costs. The up side is you'll have a job and the downside is you'll have anywhere from 1-3 weeks to totally reorganize your life around it.

The other method is you can move first and then find a job. You're going to need a nest egg to finance you while your jobless ass conducts the search. You may not find the type of work you want immediately and you'll be forced to accept whatever job will hire you or move back home. Being determined here is key because if you move back you're pretty much a failure at life. The pros of this strategy is that you'll be able to pick exactly where you want to live but the downside is that you will likely fail.

A third kind of hybrid strategy is to get a job at a large company with your goal being to eventually transfer to another position in a desirable location. This might take some time as good jobs in sweet locations are pretty sought after. If, however, you're willing to live anywhere you'll be able to find a bunch of managerial jobs at middle of the road companies that have facilities in the middle of fucking nowhere. This is a great way to get your foot in the door and can be a method of securing a good sized raise if a company needs you to transfer to a shit hole.

> live in a ghetto

Not op but why would anyone want to live in an area where you can be easily robbed or stabbed?

them is some fine titties

Thanks for the replies, USA is a big country

I live in Westchester county, NY one of the most expensive places to live in the country

I guess I want to move somewhere where cost of living is low, mostly white people, not in the city, but some place I could find a job

I just want to be left alone

What if I rent some place out and some neighbor plays his music too loud and refuses to turn it down?

There's so many scenarios I can picture occurring that would trigger my autism and make me want to move out

You could always move a few streets away.

I moved inter-state and it was a bad idea. All went to hell and had no one to help me when it went to shit.

Only totally relocate areas if you know how to make new friends easily enough. Preferably you'll have a job that allows you to socialise with coworkers.

I've always lived in ghetto places, doesn't happen that often. I'm Mexican so I'm not as big of a target as white people in the ghetto. Just don't walk late at night, don't talk to your neighbors but don't stare then down, don't give anything to crack heads. Always look like your in a hurry too

How old are you?

You can do it op. Don't be a pussy. this is what people do every fucking day

I did, but my answer was Canada (burger here with canadian roots).

Let's say you get a skill that allows you to go most anywhere in the country/world.

Where do you go then?

>What if I rent some place out and some neighbor plays his music too loud and refuses to turn it down?
earplugs or dont sleep

I'd go for an island.
Assuming it had enough interface with a larger mainland city, so that everyday living/supply wasn't a gigantic pain in the ass.
