For archers with C2, there's a soft cap for DEX that mostly has to do with how you slot your gems.
Because of how fucking garbage Red Gems and Yellow Gems give in terms of bonuses, it's best to use Green Gems as a full-dex build and then transferring your over-flowed crit rate to STR points instead.
So let's look at all the things that will provide you Crit Rate in this game.
34 from Mana-mana 42 from lvl6 green gem on secondary 32 from lvl6 green gem on secondary 65 crit rate bonus from being an archer 8 crit rate from collections
So assuming you're using a Mana-Mana with a crossbow with 2 slots, you'll have about:
34+42+32+32+65+8 = 213 crit rate from your non DEX sources in late game.
You need about 667 crit rate to crit 100% of the time, so the formula you have to solve for is how much DEX you need to hit 667 crit rate with Monstrance buff from Priest. We end up with:
An assuming you have a Max Pentamion by end-game, you should only need 232 DEX to hit crit cap with monstrance buff. So just throw the rest of those points into STR.

New to the game and trying to figure out what is a decent number to invest into con for a PvP wizard, planning to cyro>sorc then either warlock of featherfoot.
I know I don't want/need spr since I can chug pots just fine already and summons will make it useless, but everywhere I look con is mentioned as con:int 2:3 or 1:3, sometimes just "get X con total" so there isn't much consistency - and 2:3 seems retardedly tanky.

Hey /tosg/, I'm indecisive fuck, so I hope you can help. Currently rolling QS3 and still not sure what pick further. Archer 2 looks pretty decent, but then still, there will be 2 circles left. I heard Schwarzer Reiter is pretty bug, too bad. Scout looks like it could be fun to fuck around or just to bypass some annoying parts. Archer3 could boost DIPS further with higher rank of kneeling shot. Cannonner looks pretty fun and would bring AoE. Somehow Musketeer doesn't look as apealing. I'm also confused with str/dex allocation, but it doesnt seem to matter much in leveling for now.
