lucy, why do you take your trip off to link to threads, but leave it on when you create them?

First for third

that feel

>tfw no falconer and archdrake sets in das3

anime

>you will never feel Tarkus' impressive girth parting your swollen lips

>Making me spawn in the valley of knotrape
>Host dead before I can get there
girrifisu...

Recommendations for a new dragonsis build? I'm thinking hollow/luck bleed, but I'm not sure.

xth for Aldrich!

DS2 had the best fashion

If you set up your filter properly it will ignore the OP but not replies, meaning you will be able to see the thread even with my name on it, but not the post where I linked the thread unless I remove my trip.

Is the sage rapier worth using on my sorcery build?
Or would an infused crystal estoc/rapier be a better choice?

Can your phantom appear hollow?

pretty pathetic desu
Come back when you maxed out every weapon and have 99 slabs left

>Maneater Mildred.
>Not fellatio image.
come on man

Oath it did. DaS1 wasn't bad, it just lacked content. DaS3 fashion fucking sucks.

Sentinel spawns are fucking garbage. It always seems to spawn you ass-deep in the zone and as far from the host as possible.

because hes worthless autistic neet trash

>No temple knight starter class

DeS Remaster hopefully true.

Pros and cons of PvPing at level 120 instead of 99 or 80?

For Dorkmoons/Sentinels, are you always summoned to the area you're in or does the game just move you to any area a Way of the Blue member is?

>implying I'll go past ng++

fuck this shit I played through the game like a total of 9 times now across characters

half my blue summons drop me in a group of ten million mobs, and even if I deal with them the host dies shortly afterwards

this covenant is garbage, I'm glad I'm done with it

Closest is Herald.

What is the minimum strength one would need for 2hing something that requires 20 strength? Like 14?

I'm not ashamed to say it, I miss DaS2.

Estoc is stronger and requires less stat investment.

What level should I be to participate in fight clubs? And is 50 acceptable?

Pros: you get to max all of the stats.
Cons: your opponents also have their stats maxed.

Smough was never a fatty though

2h bonus is strength x 1.5

Prioritizes your area but extends everywhere.
You'll rarely get summoned outside of your own area because it's very likely that there's already a sentinel in whatever other area blues are being invaded in, and they'll be prioritized over you. So hang out in the zone you think will have the highest activity.

Pros: it's the main meta, you will be fighting them anyway, and it has the most variety

Cons: none

The only reason you should stay lower is to invade.

Is it necessary to go hollow for a luck/bleed build? I don't want to turn into beef jerk but I want to make this build.

you can be summoned across areas

You don't know what bad spawns look like

youtube.com/watch?v=S35bjK4U-jE

the fuck is this shit

You know what would be awesome? DeS setting, level design, and atmosphere with DaS3&DaS2 mechanics.

Everyone is at least SL90.

Half your str then add that # to your current str to see if you can wield it

you would need 15 in that case

Anywhere but rare.
Was sitting in the settlement and only got summoned outside twice

/dsg./ fightclubs are normally 80-100 with a couple overlevelled 120 outliers.

Just be sure you have over a thousand health and +10 weapons and you'll be fine.

So it would indeed be 14? 14 + 7 = 21

It's not gone you know

Is the average duel duration even shorter at SL 120?
At 99 i feel like they die after 2 or 3 hits

>Scas might be in this very thread drawing porn RIGHT NOW

>Pros
Not starved for stats
Lots of activity from fight clubs
No spammy mages

>Cons
90% straight swords
No build diversity since everyone is using a SS
No darkmoons
Magic still not viable

>Each game always had an entirely new set of haircuts instead of bringing over the old cosmetics while adding new ones

Questions to all those that get naturally summoned as a Blueball/Dorkmoon:

1. How much do you co-op?
2. How much do you invade?
3. Do you also get summoned as Aldritch/Watchdog? How often, compared to blue phantoming?
4. Is your blue phantom summoning about the same on all your characters, if you have many?

Thanks for answering.

I think it's because they're sunbros, that's where the alter is and everything.

I also speculate that Dragonslayer Armour is/belonged to the dragonslayer mentioned in the Sacred Oath description (for having served Nameless King and Ornstein).

Best part? The game considers that your failure so now it's gonna decrease your priority in summons.

I dunno why the hell Blues get attacked by world mobs. At the very least, they should spawn right next to the host.

>blues got cucked out of their orb

never forget

Can someone clear something up for me regarding hollow weapons and bleed? For one, how does luck scaling with hollow weapons even work? And for two, I know bleed scales with luck, but will the bleed provided by carthus rouge on a weapon that doesnt normally have bleed also scale with luck?

At least better than Shadman's shit.

>Best part? The game considers that your failure so now it's gonna decrease your priority in summons.

That's not how it works. Summoning priority is based on how new you are. People with family shared accounts can get instant summons.

Basically, the game wants the worst shitters possible to be summoned as blues.

Thanks, guess i'll make two characters for invading and one for fight clubs.
Future dlc

>speculating about lore
Don't embarrass yourself and wait for Vaati to solve the mystery

>DSCM-Net down
fack
That's my cue to get back to DaS3

What's the best level for blueberry invasions? Been getting roughly 1 every 10 minutes at level 50

If you want to get summoned, here's the answer to all four of your questions.

steamcommunity.com/app/374320/discussions/0/357286119111456394/?ctp=16

I'm at 58 ears from 2.5 hours or so. I'm going till the max

The orb never helped in DaS1 anyway.

Is Dark Souls a franchise for casuals or hardcore gamers?

I would say things like mobile games aren't in the same realm

CoD and Skyrim are casual games

where does the souls series start? be honest

>Don't embarrass yourself and wait for Vaati to [steal someone else's idea]

It's baby's first hardcore game.

Thats hilarious.

Co-op sporadically on all of my characters. Every single one is at least ranbk 1 in the sunbros just from random soulfarming co-op.
Invade constantly on all of my characters. Most have the fingers maxed out.
I can pop on the Aldrich icon and get summons instantly
I haven't been summoned once as a watchdog since my very first playthrough, despite being the same level/upgrade in every subsequent playthrough. On that playthrough, I got summons so fast I ended up with rank 1 in about an hour. After turning in my grass, I never got summoned again.
Blue activity is 0. All of my characters equip the sentinel/darkmoon icon after Abysswatchers and wear it for the rest of the game. I have 5 endgame characters and have seen 1 blue summon in about 300 hours of play time.

It's a casual hardcore game

1 Moderate (My comp is old so I can't do certain bosses.)
2 Never except as an aldritch, when I get sick of being a DM
3 Only as an Aldritch, never been summoned as a WD
4 Yeah, although its easier to get summoned at ~10-30 than it is at 109

Get proofs as early as you can with sentinels.

Anybody else experience random frame freezes every minute or so in dark souls 3? it's for a split second.

Only started happening yesterday.

shits weird.

It requires a minimum level of consciousness which is a lot more than most other mainstream games require.

It's a hardcore game, but it's the most casual of hardcore games.

If I fucked up and made Yuria leave, is there any reason to keep the hollow curse? Or is there an item that benifits me for keeping it around?

As far as I understand, every character gets a "summon priority" for Blues that is decreased after every failed summon. That includes failed attempts and losses.

It's garbage of the lowest level as you can tell from these generals.

Nothing but children and the results of eight incest generations participate in here.

>3 phantoms, 1 host
>me and a red
>run away and unlock
>start casting crystal soul spear look at the phantom closest to me
>IT LOCKS ONTO THE RED
>KILL HIM

WHY THE FUCKING SHIT DOES IT PRIORITIZE REDS ALWAYS, THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I'VE KILLED MY FELLOW RED. THIS GAME HATES INVADERS SO MUCH.

Patch caused it, everyone on PC has the freezes

If you're a luck build, hollow weapons give you +5 free levels in luck but only if your character has 15 or more hollowing.

>game automatically lowers your stats to let you play with low-level players using the password system
>no way of doing this for random summons/invasions

Yeah, that's really troublesome if you have multiple characters and shit.

Kill yourself.

From Soft latest patch gave that to a lot of people.

youtube.com/watch?v=YgHNtzxO0y8

Yeah, I totally forgot the sunlight altar is literally right there.

I don't think that is the case about Dragonslayer Armour, though. You find Ornstein's armor and weapon behind Nameless King's boss fight. I speculate the first knight to be Solaire since the miracle mentions that it is "of those chosen by the Sunlight covenant".

It doesn't fit clearly into either category. It's easy to get into and not complex, but there's enough difficulty, player's freedom of choice and RPG system that encourages planned play to bring it apart from casual games.

It's been figured out recently, see

GUYS I FINALLY FIGURED OUT A HARD COUNTER TO KATANA/STRAIGHTSWORD RUNNING R1 SPAM

why are so many people using dancer's swords now

What is a true hardcore game and can a game only be hardcore if it's difficult?

Cestus L2

Crystal or raw+ crystal buff? If you know off the top your head by any chance.

I appreciate it though.

you can stagger Nameless King if you hit him enough
if you hit him while he's staggered without taking the riposte those hits count towards the next stagger
does this mean that with something like winged knight axes you can stagger him indefinitely?
also, is boss stagger based on damage or just weapon type, so, for example, all straight swords have the same stagger power, upgraded or not?

A medium shield with decent stability, wow.

Good to know. Thought it might've been the patch.

ty lads.

yes, we all know to block it with our havel's greatshield and then poke them with our estoc

Anyone else feel bad when a qt girl phantom gets killed in your world by a piece of shit invader? Like you failed to protect the qt and now she is gone forever, never to see the summon sign again even by chance

Caint wait for the DLC. Main game is a disappointment.

No idea, didn't see any videos released about it
They're still shit

>A medium shield with decent stability
There are none

I mean besides that

So, what do you guys think happened with Ornstein and Nameless King? Did Ornstein just show up to talk and negotiations failed?

It's not about difficulty, rather than how much depth a game has, how much investment it requires in time and effort. Super Hexagon, Tetris and Impossible Game are casual games despite being difficult.
