Stirner's philosophy is basically libertarian/anarchism/nihilism but for some reason communists and tankies from /leftypol/ have latched onto him.

They're weren't OK, but they weren't not OK either. They simply were, and the judgement of the matter belongs entirely to the individual.

There are sound, egoistic reasons to not consider genocide OK (the most basic is empathy, though a more distant one is that a society that considers genocide OK is a society more likely to genocide any particular individual).

This is something people miss about Stirner's thinking. You're totally valid in making moral judgements or holding dear ideas, they're just not something with external validity.

Tankies generally don't like Stirner. Some other communists do but generally they ignore the moralistic premises that communism holds.
