Made me try reloading and then putting the crown on, and then activating the ritual stone, but it just removed the atronach stone and kept the shadow. Then I remove and add the crown again and it still adds the shadow, when the last stone was the atronach. The shadow persists.
Same thing happens if I activate the ritual without the circlet on. It removes the atronach and adds the ritual. Then putting the circlet on adds the shadow.

I'm getting pretty sure it's bugging out one way or another but I'm not sure which way it's supposed to work by the wikia. I've played the game before and don't remember anything like this so I actually think it might be USLEEP if it's anything causing this and not just chance it could happen anyway.
