Right. I thought Root A was great and also Root B to some extent, but now I feel like the VN is starting to drop the ball with way too many flashback scenes playing out one after another, and also a good amount of repeated scenes with just a different perspective.

RD is much more similar to I/O than Infinity VNs anyway(Except A, imo all the route was an homage to E17 tho). I/O was 1/3 worldbuilding, 1/3 story and 1/3 after stories, lel. I'm actually pretty surprised that those BC particles weren't nanomachines actually.

Ayakashibito is near kamige status in Japan is probably the most popular chuunige ever behind Type-Moon. Pretty much the only chuunige that are markedly better are Muramasa and Masada's stuff.
Not that Ayakashibito doesn't have its problems, but it also has a lot of memorable qualities unlike how completely forgettable most the majority of chuunige actually are
