We should add this to the op until the skills update is released
Henry Howard
Agreed, I just went a little more in depth on Sokol's background, although Sydney story is piratically, "Hey, can I join the Payday gang?" while everyone else were indicated to join for their professionalism and not because they wanted to be famous criminals.
Body expertise should be allowed to work on dozers.
Also the skill is too expensive for what it is.
Christian Ward
>PD:TH soundtrack >Not Code Silver
John Flores
Oh, I understand then. I don't think his backstory is 'bad' exactly, I just want to know more about it and his life in general. I mean, it's not like he's just some random hockey player. He was definitely doing heists and using Hockey as a cover. I wish all of the characters got an indepth backstory like Sydney did, actually.
So the new Techforcer objective-god build is going to roughly look like this?
Jack Nguyen
10th for lewds
Tyler Wood
But Sydney's in-depth background story is shit, she's piratically a young trouble maker who wanted fame and for that she tried to find a way to join the Payday gang. NONE of the characters joined the damn gang for fame, neither they WANTED to join the gang, they were either contracted by Bain or by other gang members. Unlike everyone else, she does not have professional achievements behind her, she just made part of a young delinquent gang. Although I do like her voice responses, she's one of my favorite heisters for that, I just wish she had a better story other than that shitty fanfic. I'll wait until she's in a 75% promotion to buy her.
Lincoln Hernandez
Sydney's backstory sucks yeah I meant I wish all the characters had GOOD in-depth backstories
Elijah Roberts
Yeah, it would be nice. I want to see how Chains met John Wick or know more about Jiro's son.
Mason Diaz
>Sitting on 25 dollars in my steam account Bring on the Sydney safes already!
i really want to know how all the heisters get along with eachother ;_; we know how hox and houston are but what about everyone else?
Hudson Baker
So what is Jiro actually saying when he has that line that sounds like "Imasu big guy"
Dylan Hall
John Wick: Has a entire movie about his backstory and how badass he is. Met Chains during the military and they probably kept contact.
Clover: Was sent after Hoxton but was outmatched by him, Hoxton instead of killing her decided to teach her the joys of heisting. She went solo for a while but they reunited again after.
Dragan: Corrupt Interpol agent sent by the Butcher.
Jacket: Probably hired by the Dentist or Wolf for the Hotline Miami job as he has a "history" with them. Jacket has military background and survived a suicide mission.
Bonnie: Managed to find vital information about the Payday gang though gambling, she also helped them to find Hoxton's backstabber.
Sokol: Known for robbing Casinos and using Hockey as a way to hid himself. He designed the drill used in Golden Grin.
Jiro: Former Yakuza member, he was told about Bain by his boss.
Bohdi: Founder of the Ex-Presidents gang. His actions and skill got Bain's attention.
Jimmy: Clone of the original Jimmy, he carried information about Akan's plan and was willing to pay and aid the Payday gang on the job against Akan.
Sydney: Random delinquent who stole shit from the Payday gang somehow and this made Bain wanted to hire her?
That's all we got really.
Angel Sanders
>has a "history" with them By "them" I meant the Russian Mobsters.
Ryder Ward
>"Okay guys, I'm going to wait up here and block the cops who are scripted to spawn when the vault opens" >1-3 of them drop down >Somehow get absolutely memed on by green dozers >I step once goddamn inch into that vault and all of those fucking cops spawn behind me
Gabriel Carter
I'm pretty sure Jacket is straight up non-canon
Aiden Mitchell
That's what you get for trying to cheat.
Aiden Ross
That aside I just don't get how people get fucking obliterated by Green dozers like that
There's so much cover and you can just LoS them so easily down there
I mean sure if they meatshot you without armor you immediately explode but fuck
Caleb Wood
It's the peekaboo conundrum.
If you have LoS with the dozer, the dozer has LoS with you (aka. your head that it's shooting at).
So what happens is that either the pub is a retard standing in the open, or they think that the dozer will hit the corner wall while they peek out and spend 20 minutes shooting at the dozer. And thus, the pub goes down.
Also most people don't know that cops don't have spread, just dice rolls. They either miss you and the bullet goes through your character model, or they hit you and the bullet stops when it hits your character model.
Camden Lewis
>do this >team kills the dozers, starts tossing money >vault doors open, no big cop spawn >teammates start tossing bags up >go down the stairs to help >the big cop spawn happens anyways
Nothing bad happened in the end, but still, bravo OVK
Jeremiah Powell
Yeah, no, the moment the game recognizes that all players have stepped into the vault is when they spawn, as far as I can tell, even if you step in after everyone has already left?
It's still so easily prevented, just wait a few goddamn seconds for your armor to come back and you can damage race him every time!
Juan Mitchell
Wolf was seen carrying Jacket's piece on Golden Grin casino trailer tho, also the FBI files heavily suggest that he might be canon to the universe... Dennis Wedin also kinda answered it by saying "What do you think? :)".That smiley face there, is total proof that Jacket is canon. Being serious now, the Jacket in Payday is probably another Jacket from somekind of alternate universe like in Injustice... or Jacket just escaped prison before THAT happened.
Samuel Brown
Okay, so one of the recent patches said that it re-enabled the COP Safe again. I thought this meant we were getting another safe, but I'm wrong? Or is it just enabling it for the 3 people that didn't open it when the update hit?
Ryan Young
We're just pretending that the ending threw Jacket into a time portal to present day DC.
Brandon Scott
Ah. Yeah. I double-checked and I'm wrong about him being non-canon. That's my bad.
Mason Allen
Just the 3 people who bought the overpriced COP DLC from a reseller after the safes+drills hit.
Brandon Ortiz
>Maniac is actually pretty damn good
I might start running this with my masterforcer loadout, getting some health regen on top of the damage reduction sounds spicy.
Pretty pleasant surprise after the last few perk decks turned out to be pretty lacking
Lucas Sanchez
Maniac is one of my favorite decks, to be honest. Feels nice to be rewarded for killing that isn't just health regen, and it's great for support too.
Kevin Wood
>Pretty pleasant surprise after the last few perk decks turned out to be pretty lacking maximum shitter here who doesn't know a thing Is Anarchist really that lacking? I tried it after coming back to the game since around the time Dragan came out and running the armor skills in enforcer + Anarchist I have like 270 armor or some shit in a LBV and I feel pretty fuckin invincible alot of the time. Granted I'm too pussy to try anything on Deathwish so maybe that's just Overkill being easy in general.
Chase Clark
If you've got a semi-reliable team then try it with Frenzy and Berserker, you'll fucking love it.
Jaxon Kelly
Deathwish shreds armor in a matter of seconds, health regen/dodge is king.
Brandon Smith
fucking magic science electromagnets exist, jacket came through a time travelling dimension hopping portal device
Henry Wright
I'm not actually sure about Anarchist, since I don't own Sydney. I was mostly referring to Yakuza and Expres to a slightly lesser extent.
But people have described it as 'Grinder but armor' so it can't be THAT bad.
Play Death Wish you coward

male heisters >all professionals, all wound up in the gang through high level contacts female heisters >more than half have never even lived a life of crime, all of them should either be dead or civilians, only wound up in the gang through street level contacts
M-MUH FEMINISM
at least now we know why all the females look like gutter trash.
Joshua Parker
Hello heisters! New side jobs are out!
Today's Daily Side Jobs are: - Caribbean Pirate (caribbean_pirate) - I Am The One Who Knocks (halloween_1)
Keep those helmets flying! ;)

45th for slav cloakers being best cloakers.
Luis Allen
>They're never going record new lines for Clover to interact with Jimmy or Sydney >She just yells at them in the same way as hostages.
Dominic Parker
Ashley claimed the new voice lines are delivered in small bits throughout patches, so Clover will say it eventually.
Wolf on the other hand..
Brayden Hill
>Clover acting like a banshee to everyone,
Sounds normal to be honest
Brody Turner
Name a single good primary weapon that came with a heister. Pro tip: You can't

>FugiForcer
Mosconi is better, or Raven in the beta
Gavin Allen
You're not wrong but I was under the impression that saying "Shitgun" implied that the poster thought every shotgun was bad.
Cameron Thomas
remember when shotguns were good and we all gave them pet names
i miss those times
Brandon Jenkins
We'll be a bit closer to that again with the beta since shotguns might actually be usable without the point investment
Using the dlc unlocker, via BLT causes hoxhud games to kick me.
When I turn off the dlc unlocker I no longer have the dlc's unlocked
What am I doing wrong? I didn't have to enter any lua script like the guide told me to do.
Owen Price
The game has an autokick cheaters option that's active by default and using the DLC unlocker flags you as one.
Caleb Collins
Upon further trial and error, only primary and secondary weapons from dlcs unlocked like this get me kicked. Characters/perk decks/melees do not
Alexander Gutierrez
Sokol made a big useless drill that won't even be used if you follow plan A.
Jace Martin
Yeah but fuck stealthing GGC, it's just a 'sit back and let one person do everything' job while everyone else plays slots.
That and nobody hosts that heist at all. The only people I ever see hosting a GGC lobby is people who cheat
Jack Evans
The Jacket hired by the crew is a copy cat killer at best. Jacket would be 50+ years old by the time the game takes place and he also kinda died in an atomic bomb. The original Jacket also wasn't a true mute, and wouldn't be silly enough to use the tape recorder. Plus the Richard Returns mask looks nothing like the original Richard. So the argument that it's a copy cat killer feels more valid than believing he's a time frozen radiation ghost that took an arts and crafts class to make a new mask and then decided to go robbing banks.
Nolan Rogers
>overkill releases a shit heist that lags everyfuckingbody >only people still playing it are cheatingscum Poetry.
Owen Howard
I mean, I like running it now and again but mostly just for stealth. Doing it loud just isn't all that interesting, and it's comfy to sneak around in it.
Which, as I said, why bother opening it to other players when you stealth
Jayden Morris
>cheatingscum Bad goys are your friends. They fight for truth, justice, and the Aryan way.
Nicholas James
No, see, I don't care about people being bad goys. I don't give a shit about people pirating DLC or Weapon skins or whatever the fuck
But it's never just that. They always have other shit like infinite health/ammo or all skill points or their interactions take half a second and their drills finish instantly
That's not being a bad goy, that's being a bitch nigga
Ayden Hughes
>But it's never just that. I'm sure it more often than not is just that. Juden.
Josiah Wilson
If they didn't add the extra guards in the back to DW, I would've considered stealthing it more.
John Cruz
It's been 100% consistent for me.
Maybe it's bad luck.
Nicholas Lopez
Just kill em. Once the cameras are down you're free to and you shouldn't need to kill the ones patrolling the floor.
John Peterson
I thought the dlc unlocker didn't flag as cheater though. Am I missing something? Because only hoxhud is kicking me for attempting to use these things
Justin Reed
There are more than 4 roaming around in the back area. That's the problem. Can't just stealth it all comfy-like and take my time.
John Perry
It's still doable, you just can't fuck up unless the guard you fuck up on happens to be one the one guard who patrols the whole map
Which is a shame because I always enjoyed killing locker room guard and showing him who the boss of this gym was
Parker Lee
The locker room guard never leaves the locker room. He's pretty much non-factor after you got the briefcase code in there.
Austin Phillips
I did it just recently and there are only technically four guards back there.
The two who are always there The third guard there on DW And the guy who patrols the whole map.
There's also locker room guy but you can ignore him. Maybe I lucked out but I moved all the money solo and wasn't harassed by any more guards.
Yeah, I mostly just shot him for fun but you can't do it anymore
Michael Myers
The DLC unlocker is the only thing that actually flags you as a cheater. You used to get flagged if you picked up grenades from grenade cases but I'm pretty sure they removed that. and it has never flagged godmode instant drillers.
Adrian Perez
HEY YOU, GET ON YOUR FEET
Chase Bennett
I thought the point was that they were a signature perk for enforcers.
Nolan Adams
Basically everyone used the loco before the unbalance
But then they made shotguns literally fucking unusable without investing in shotgun CQB minimum because otherwise they did so little damage
Julian Sanchez
>people using the predator 12G unironically
Charles Perry
On DW or OVK? I'm pretty sure you could intentionally use the shittiest build/weapons imaginable and be fine on OVK
Carter Perez
Post raifus.
Evan Gray

>join pub >host is a bagspawning, kill-all hacker >wants a good xp job he can spam bags on >suggest Big Oil
He's trying to throw all the bags in the chopper and getting maaaaad.
Charles Ward
They did buff it to 90 damage recently.
Jaxson Bell
>join pub, >host is I-100 and want to try an ICTV memeserker build, >decide to pick undercover hard because he's afraid of failing it,
Had to spend five minutes convincing him it was calm on Overkill too.
Hudson Barnes
>smg Fuck off no-guns
Adrian Martinez
Did the large clip give it away?
Wyatt Parker
that's because you need to use the anti-cheater tag hack before you can use godmode or instant drills, you don't for dlc items which flags you during the lobby
Lincoln Price
Where can I find the anti cheater tag hack?
Ayden Parker
>tfw still missing one or more weapon mods for almost all my guns so can't post raifus because they would be scantily clad
such is life~u
Colton Perry
it's part of an "overkill" blt mod on a commonly found hack forum of unknown origins
Robert Fisher
I find sydney offensive. And thats not even counting her looks, seriously its like Overkill learned everything about female australian voices off of shit shows like Housos and fat pizza.
