I'd argue that marvel is beyond anime. Anime is about balancing mechanics that would be broken in a traditional fighting game and keep a certain balance/gameplay flow. Marvel is specifically about NOT balancing anything and being as broken as possible.

Well I won't argue P4AU because I don't know anything about P4AU, but look at HnK. The intent was clearly to make an anime game. It failed at managing this balanced design which is why it's kusoge, I mean you can't compare the retardness of HnK with GG or MB for exemple.
