No, it's cause her artwork has flat-colored eyes, with a single point of light. Hard to make look good while staying as close to the design as possible. I compromised and just used a base eye-- but not the blank one. Never the blank one. Debated pigtails, for the antenna things, but decided against it. Same with braids. Doesn't fit her character.

Probably going to do Mary next, but I've been itching to do a better Curly Brace. Maybe.

When you guys make qts do you have a default template thing with some good base settings you use to start with? Like a blank slate with adjusted values or do you just hit new character and get to work from scratch?

Always from the default-chan but I usually set the eye width to 130 and adjust the rest of the eye values so its at my preferred uguu~ level.

Sometimes I start with nothing, but most of the time I use a random card I made before.

Start from default girl every time. Even though I have some preferred settings, especially for boobs and head, I like to start from scratch to not fall on them too hard.

I also try to keep girls simple, so i try to avoid crazy eye textures or flashy highlights, and oversaturated hair color.

Okay, can someone help me with the Matou Sakura hair? I have the files I need, put the hair .pps in, then changed her hair in reiedit. Didn't work. Normally when I open it before reiediting her hair, she'll look normal save the front of her hair, which is weird and black. When I switched the hair in reiedit, she just had generic hair, no red ribbon.

Help? This is literally the only thing not working for my game, and the completionist in me can't take it.

The card in the db has a wrong slot assigned. I can't tell you which one should be there. yhough so you have to find it yourself. The black hair she currently gets is the hair for Rin. Just open her in the maker with AAFace, find something that looks like her hair on the card, remember the slots and assign them via ReiEdit.

It depends. Sometimes I want to use specific hair extension or back hair and I'm trying to find something that will fit to it. But sometimes I also have a specific idea in my mind and I'm trying to recreate it. But I'm also sometimes using "Random" button - it can give some cool combinations.
