Daily reminder by this point DaS2 was already receiving attention to better allow gameplay between players and promote variety.

For example the 1.03 patch which removed buff stacking and made weapons like the MLGS unbuffable came march the 28th, while the game was released on march the 11th.

The game was also pretty much well balanced and only received minor tweaks after 1.04 which was deployed on june the 2nd.

Meanwhile what have DaS3's patches done that have actually mattered for pvp? Serious question btw, I don't even hate the game but 2 was extremely polished three months after release and I can't see 3 fitting on the same schedule.

They nerfed a weapon that required 50str, weighed more than smoughs hammer and used the most stam in the game to swing
The nerf took a huge chunk from its' base damage and because scaling is calculated from base and it scales S, it was hurt even more
