some people who dressed up as her character but bald followed her arround on stream spamming the cry emote (aka making fun of the whole fake cancer thing). these people ended up being banned

ribbit flipped the fuck out because "muh streamer favouratism", accusing modmatk of banning them because i guess he has a boner for her. Mod ronan responded saying that the people in question were banned because they'd been harrasing a bunch of streamers and posting racist shit etc blah blah, fairly legitimate reasons for temp bans. Only one person was actually permanently banned, because he was imitating the KKK and jagex has been cracking down super hard on that kind of shit lately.

for whatever reason, ronan emphasised that they wouldn't be providing the chat logs as proof of this because hurr its too offensive to show. robbit continued to flip the fuck out.

Take it from me, being a Pmod really isn't worth it. I was one from about 2006 all the way up until 2012 when they took it away because I stopped playing for a while. It was fine the first few years because the worst you had to deal with was people asking constantly what the crown was, but then from about 2010 onward the mood changed and you got a lot more abuse. They've always been a lightning pole for player frustration aimed at Jagex. God forbid what it's like nowadays.

Well, that wasn't the first time I stopped playing for an extended amount of time. I've played what, WoW, FFXI, GW2, and even though I never played Runescape during those times I always managed to keep the crown. I guess in that instance I was just unfortunate enough that I was caught out as inactive. As for how you become a Pmod nowadays, I have no idea. I assume it's still the same as before. Don't be a dick, know the game, help people out, etc. And yes, I have 0 black marks.
