Nice thread OP

Any reason why my transports can't enter Scrooge territory?

Rogues spotted
Time to purge

I'll ask again, does anyone have had issues with his ground army disappear when trying to embark them?

Thanks for the migration access user, but it's starting to get a little crowded on this planet. We just got so comfy here it'd be hard for us to move now, I'm sure you understand.

Nope, do they disappear for good?

Space Amish reporting in

I'm about to do a synthetic empire game with that robot mod

There, a couple of interesting yet balanced systems.

xth for reality is unrealistic.

>Conquer planet
>Purge the xeno population
>Terraform into a world more suited for my species
>Recolonize the planet and get free buildings

Stellaris teaches us the benefits of genocide

yep

No route.

Remove Abominable Intelligences.

Neat.

Now, how the fuck do I update my stellaris mod? I get the error "Error uploading mod."

daily reminder that humanity's destiny is to have sex with every xeno we encounter

>You'll never catch kurisu red-handed

why would you make that black & white? it looked way better in the trailer

Weird, did you get the planet hp to zero before landing?

Assumed cause offensive fleets can pass so would my transports. Will try to combine fleets or somehow maybe get offensive fleet to escort them over

I'm confused. What's going on in this image?

Can't you see the range in the image.

Update your transports

>Ally myself with the biggest blob on the map
>They instantly get a vote to declare war
>My allies are fucking pacifists.

I dont even

>There are people right here, right now who doesn't think Kurisu is the best girl.

Is wormhole the only FTL travel where you have to be outside of a system's gravity well to jump?

Post songs to purge robotic filth to desu lads

I kinda feel bad for Fallen Empires nowadays.
Like I had this huge Battle of the Ringworld, and watching those elegant and refined Avatar-class Battlecruisers collapse under the barrage of my kinetic artillery was really sad.
Imagine what the FE people must've felt.
A wormhole opens, and a vast fleet appears.
Ancient battlecruisers spin up, and the defense fleet faces the invader. Tachyon lances devastate enemy sub-capitals and small craft, and then their battleships open fire from their crude, kinetic weapons. So inelegant and inefficient.
As the state-of-art battlecruisers take aim to disable the enemy's primitive fleet, shields of one of them overload. You watch as chunks of metal tear through carefully sculpted bow of the ancient warship, one of the few remaining in the entire galaxy. Well, there's one less now. More and more shields give in under the constant barrage. The defense fleet fights valiantly, but enemy's sheer numbers overwhelm them. Beautiful, ancient warships which defended the ringworld for aeons are no more.
The enemy moves in to rain atomic fire upon the ringworld's palatial district. There is no hope, time to concede to save what remains of the ancient civilisation. No empire is eternal, maybe it's time to step back. The treaty is signed, and the invaders claim the ringworld. Citizens of the old empire now strive to readjust to this new administration. And then the purges begin.

I think it also happens in warp.

How many minutes have you play?

all of them have to do that besides hyper lanes

>I think it also happens in warp.
Wow, could warp travel get any worse?

Well snap, thanks

There not even on an enemy planet, I recruit them, try to embark them and they just disappear.

Their folly was that they had become stagnant user. Same thing will happen to your empire if you just leave it there for 500 years letting younger empires blob up and out-tech you.

>Buys gay porn
>Gets caught

Do shields recharge during battle if they're not being fired at? I'm wondering if the shield capacitors are any good, seeing as they use more power than level 3 shields.

Vae Victus.

There should be more new crisis. One that makes you into a fallen empire if you fail would've been cool.

finally beat immortan
am I one of the cool bois yet?

>Think Kurisu is best girl
>Didn't even play/read/watch berensteins;gate

>Vae Victus.
AHAHAHAHAHA

Suzuha>Kirusu>Luka>Faris>Moeka>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mayuri

>wreck a FE
>Get flooded with "rivalry ended" "X has joined Y federation" "Z has formed a federation" messages
BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID

That has to be a bug

>Suzuha

Shitty. Taste.

If you defeat a FE, do you get to keep their ring worlds with the millions of tiles?

youtube.com/watch?v=nmpgbb6b3Wc

Moe is life, haven't even read the VN yet and my heart already knows

You misspelled best taste

If that FE had a ringworld and ceded it to you, then yes. All you have to do is send them to a gulag or purge it.

>collectivists have the strongest purge powers
>but thanks to their insane unique techs they'll just brainwash all conquered species anyway
It's fucking silly. You have the freedom to do whatever you want to you pops but you don't need to do anything because they are the most loyal motherfuckers in the galaxy.

>leaving xenos alive
eeeeeeeeeeew

>he doesn't go collectivist fanatical materialist despotic hegemony or science directorate
>he doesn't go militarist fanatical materialist science directorate or direct democracy

Is there a way to purge populations without being collectivist or xenophobe?

I set out to create a 100% Synth/Android/Robot Empire but I picked Fanatical Materialist and Militarist as my ethics so I've discovered I can't purge the organics.
What do I do?

Restart or console commands

>only choose Fanatic Collectivist Materialists as my first playthrough because I wanted to roleplay as mushrooms
>it's one of the best picks possible
Good feel

>no option or policy for mass consciousness uploads

Whoever Makes the thread next time remember to add the MOTHERFUCKING LINK to previous thread

I made a less warscore mod.

Now you can demand more planets instead of only 3-4.

To make wars longer, I also decreased the war value of planets. It overrides the defines.lua, if you don't want it just delete the file and you'll still be able to demand more planets(Wars are just going to end faster).

The more I've played with sectors the more I've decided they're not horrific (As long as I don't look at how they're achieving their results), but I really wish there was a "Balanced" setting instead of only focuses. Energy spends 90% of the time at cap anyway, and the times it isn't you probably have your fleets deployed, but if I don't give out energy focuses the AI tends to build until it's no longer sustainable.

Yeah, I go fanatic spiritualist pacifists so I can outtech the silly materialists.

isn't picking no focus the same as balanced?

From my experience the only good sector is one huge one focused only on research.
Everything else I tried sucks.

Starts out at minerals.

wew

has anyone seen more habitable planets in one system?

That'll probably be held back for a DLC where you can become a Fallen Empire, since most of their citizens are supposed to be living in a full immersion VR environment.

Pretty sure I own a system with 3 and this is a game where I cut down spawn chance to 1/4th of the original

>but I really wish there was a "Balanced" setting instead of only focuses

Go to sector_types and replace the military (who does even use it?) focus to look like this:

military = {
production_targets = {
minerals
energy
society_research
engineering_research
physics_research
}

ships = {
constructor
}

ai_weight = {
weight = 0
}
}

Then select military focus ingame, it should run with those parameters.

Mind you, it's not as 'balanced' as you might think since the algorithm for the AI doesn't prioritize energy it seems. I don't know if it ignores energy and relies on the 'have X amount of energy before building, if less build more power' or if it goes pure balance without accounting maintenance, as in 'build 3 power, 3 mineral, 3 research, but energy ends up almost nonexistence because it maintains the rest'. At least that's what I see, since other than that it does build labs and minerals along with energy.

I have an ocean world orbiting a massive Gaia world with a continental in the same system in my current playthrough. Its not more but I'm surprised I could get such a good system.

Any big update or even update yet after 1.0.2?

Yep, Beacon of Infinity.

>since most of their citizens are supposed to be living in a full immersion VR environment.
[citation needed]

...

>have system with multiple colonies
>each colony has a space port
>each space port has a fleet docked with it
>tell both fleets to upgrade
>the fleet at the spaceport built second will go queue up at the spaceport built first
wew
I refuse to have core systems with more than one world because of this.

I cut down an AI empire down to one planet and then another planet attacked it and has been occupying their last planet for at least two decades now

Is there anyway that I can force peace between them or something?

tbf if I lived in a super advanced society I'd be spending all my time with my brain hooked up to waifu sims

is it me or do Mind Control Lasers not cost the 10 influence that's listed?

I've just been spamming them in all my colonies and my influence is unchanged

>That'll probably be held back for a DLC where you can become a Fallen Empire
Kinda wish there was a way you could create races built to be Fallen Empires that appear in game. It would be fun to take a race that you conquered the galaxy with then turn them specifically into a fallen empire that can appear randomly in new games. A little like fighting yourself.

>finding out Sol is a Fallen Empire

would be rad as fuck

It's only 10 influence anyway, not like that was going to stop you from spamming them

It has space for big improvements like allowing sectors to build robots when you have space on planets.

Sure, but with 30+ planets that's a lot of influence being saved

Just increase the planet limit and build everything yourself

...

I just found Sol III in the midst of World War 2, with a Wehrmacht cross as it's symbol. Maybe the Nazis are winning? Dunno if that's a fixed event but it was pretty cool.

Ruined history by having my Space Romans deploy legions to pacify them though.

Kek

Good enough for me, I'll give it a shot. Worst thing that happens is I have to keep switching around focuses to keep everything maintained and I'm having to do that now.

Military really is useless though, they should patch it into a balanced option down the road.

why is SPLIT HUMAN RACES not in the steam workshop?

If vassals colonize other worlds does that count into the victory condition for colonizing 40% of all colonizable planets?

I'm considering uplifting a species but I don't know if I should have their world preference be the same as my species, or if i should make it different then try to resettle them on new worlds i wouldn't ordinarily have been able to colonize

if i can't do that i dont really get what the benefit of uplifting is besides increased population

It's not bad at managing the planets. At least they build a few defensive armies. But I don't think I've ever seen them build any stations.

das racis

das racis

You can get some nice gene traits on uplifted species and they get a massive happiness bonus just by being in your empire.

Did anyone get an error where an alien civilization is bugged and you can't research/investigate them? I press the investigate button but nothing happens in the situation log lol

I could attack them to clear them out of the area but I don't want to break the save...

There's only one race user. The human race.

Say that to my bug people

if i send out a colony ship will they be part of the local population? will they just chill in the original home world?

how does colonization work relative to the new uplifted species?

I hope pacify means purge and populate the planet yourself
