well, realistically speaking, that could be enough to do some kind of very simple monetizable mobile game, like a virtual aquarium (bascilicom i guess) or tamagotchi; just nep themed, just needs a handful of sprite assets, and some kind of for-cash currency to get more accessories for the acquarium or clothes for the virtual pet

Doubt 1k would be enough for the licensing fees, but this is definately the kind of thing that can be frankensteined together from existing open source frameworks by someone with basic computer literacy in a few hours a day over a few weeks (so realistic as a side gig for someone with a real job)
