Faith is useful for utility, and damage against anything weak to Lightning once you get 50+ int with Yorshka's chime.

Sorcery is good for interesting spells, and consistent damage once you're in the midgame.

Pyromancy is good for actually being viable the whole game through offensively.

Don't bother with faith to boost damage go clutch instead and pump points into dex as it increases dmg output more which is sad
A base faith swordspear with 30 dex does more damage than a base dex with 40 faith

Its weapon art is pure lightning damage, and is the same as the attack nameless king uses where he smites you with lightning. It also buffs the weapon with lightning with what I assume is similar to lightning blade.

Also I made a shitty meme build in an attempt to recreate giantdad. Ended up going from chaos zwei to lightning astora gs with minimum reqs to wield two hand and 60 faith. It does a shitton more damage than I expected, especially with charge.

Your core spell is fire surge. Hover just out of range of your opponent and poke with single ticks of firesurge damage. Keep a simple offhand (+9 it) to help sustain FP.

Don't attune great combustion. Your built-in WA combustion does almost as much damage (endgame) with the same hitbox and a much smaller FP cost.

Use manually aimed great chaos fireballs to fuck with people that get too aggressive on your fire surge poking. Predict which direction they'll roll in when they're being too obvious on their approach. A successful call-out will net you around 600 damage.

No other spells are really worth attuning. Most pyromancies are shit or at least will never actually hit someone in pvp and don't create any interesting setups or mixup.

Cos it's gimmicky and people think it's harder than it really is. It's actually pretty absurd just how easy it is to pull off.

Unfortunately alot of the time it just boils down to shutting down ganks with CSS (not that shitting on them isn't satisfying), though that makes the occasional Soul Stream double kill from halfway across the map even more perfect.

I think the main issue is that it's a very twink-orientated build and everything you need for it is basically end-game, even other builds can at least just ignore the Archives and leave Aldrich alive for Pontiff fight clubs.

It's great fun when you get into the rhythm of it, though. I've spent so long in the Catacombs i've learnt you can use the Hex Urns to locate where hiding players are..
