I hang out here because of muscle memory back from gilgamesh days. Me and Ippiki would be at the bench beside the tree because it was close to the MB and while he crafted I'd get him the mats he needed for future stuff. It was a good meetup spot for him selling his crafts, too.
Now I still come here for the atmosphere but if NG had a MB you know god damned well I'd be there 24/7. My house has one right down the bridge but nobody but me can/would TP to my house over limsa. ;_;

TL;DR Limsa is a good idle spot for people who use retainers, sell stuff, craft, etc a lot
