So even with rune of giants to prevent oneshots in pvp rune caster is pretty much dumpster tier?

So... how does GvG work? I can see that wardecs happen and are similar to Eve in that they last for a certain period of time, they don't have to be mutual agreements, and it allows for unrestricted (at least between those 2 guilds) PVP anywhere in the world.

However, I have four questions:
1: Is anything gained from killing another player other than the self satisfaction and possible kudos for doing so?

2: Is there any benefit to killing a guild's tower?

3: What's the downside if your own guild tower gets destroyed?

4: (not specific to GvG but still guilds) Why do you need a guild tower in the first place - I mean, what does it do?

I swear if they don't refund my whole month's subscription fee, I'll lose my shit. G-guess I'll have to miss this meet up.

if you join a guild you'll eventually be forced into PvP because of how the tower system works unless theres guild neutrality.

If you don't join a guild you'll never have to deal with PvP outside of duels

I don't see the point in a mixed dex/str build ever (excluding something like accuracy) for pve

It seems to me that either your base damage on a skill is high enough to go pure dex, or it hits enough to warrant str additional damage

Despite what /tosg/ says , PvP is actually fun ( hitting other players is more fun than hitting monsters who would've guess). You just get massive frame drops from time to time though.

Though I advice that you make a pure pvp character on your alt than gimping your first one.

GvG is basically a week long of "pvp". I use the term losely because what will happen is maybe a fight once in a while and when the guy is nearly dead he'll just jump channels or log off.

2. You cucked them for a day
3 and 4: tower is mostly used to upgrade the guild with talt so you can have more members, a dilgelle farm which alchemists need to make potions, and something pet related that we never do in my guild so I don't even know what it does.
