Maybe I remember something wrong, but wasn't Dijkstra's plan to have Temerian resistance keep fighting against Nilfgaard after Roche is dead? It seems their negotiations with Nilfgaard were kept in a deep secret, to the point that Roche didn't even tell his right hand, Ves, about it, until she grew impatient and started getting out of line. I mean with Radovid paranoia it made sense to keep it among as smallest circle of people as possible until everything will be set and done. After Roche, Ves and Thaler deaths, Dijkstra probably takes care of anyone else from the Roche group who could knew anything about it, then Roche's death was blamed on NIlfgaardians, so the rest of the resistance would keep fighting against them.
