I didn't say anything about difficulty. The game just has some cheap stuff, like dogs and enemies that attack very fast or are spammy. And then there enemies that attack like in picture related, it's like fighting the glitched DaS1 Ornstein all the time.

user, these are all new people. These are people who hated the entire idea of invasions and either avoided the entire series because of it, or alt+f4ed on every invasion. They're on their high horse now because they finally have it the way they want it.

Pontiff, Champ and Soul are all harder. Keep in mind I say this as someone who really struggled with none of them, but who things the Nameless King is unbelievably standard. All of his attacks are very slow, very predictable, have no mixups and no variable extensions. He does the same thing every time in the same sequence, and all of his patterns have million year windups followed by split second hitboxes that are almost impossible to fail to roll through. He's vulnerable to classic circle strafing and can be poked after basically every roll. The only way you can possibly get fucked by him is having 10 vigor or the timing of a deaf snail.

While Champion is technically the harder boss, I died 10 times more to the crystal sage

I don't fucking care if lucy posts, he can shitpost all he wants, his posts are only as bad as the rest of you any way
