Getting racists and assholes (so, /v/) mad since 2013.

You know, I see people praising that new DOOM game, but all I see is much ado about nothing.
Do you think anybody is going to make a better first-person shooter this generation than Bioshock Infinite?
I guess Destiny has better-feeling guns and with the Taken it has finally surpassed Infinite in enemy and combat design (he said at the risk of sacrilige), but that's it. In all other aspects, Infinite is still king.
Is it TRULY perfection, then?

It portrays the Vox just as bad if not worse.

Infinite wasn't perfect, especially the DLC.

From the gameplay point of view Infinite is an average console-friendly shooter. It has better-feeling weapons and gun mechanics than bioshock 1 but at the same time it lacks some interesting game mechanics from the previous games and doesn't provide much to replace them.
I like BAS1 more than the main game. It seems better balanced. But it's too short.

Doom is spot on, it's GOAT. Bioshock gave us an interesting universe/s that spawned on into it's own thing. It's like trying to compare apples and oranges, they're both FPS's.

I keep playing the first half of this game over and over. Everything up until the "Other Columbia" (after you go through the tear in Finkton) is so great.
