Fleet battles.

There's a commander that has +10% deck speed if he's the captain, but his active is Fleet cruise. There's nothing else, honestly, unless you take into account the 1-2% passives.

There's also Spruance's active.

mouse over the gunner slot. higher BP(number under commander) the faster the reload passives will be.

it isn't wise to try and uptier snipe.

otto/reinhard in gunner slot is mandatory unless you have many many hawkeyes

are there no spawn kill protections on TDM mode? I see BBs spawn and get torpedoed before they can even load and turn their mains and DDs getting focused by 4 BBs before they can do anything

It's better to have the better pen and damage of Pensacola's first gun upgrade than the long range of the other, right? If I have to fight BBs invisifiring from max 6 km isn't gonna cut it with out that extra pen, no?

No spawn protection at all. Overextended teams get punished pretty hard.

I prefer pen. At that tier you'll be firing at 5.3km anyway.

It depends on what your trying to kill, CAs aren't really ment to go toe to toe with BBs your main targets are ships of equal size and smaller.

asking because despite generally avoiding BBs when on IJN CAs i've been put on a BBless team and expected to serve as one. And this time I don't even get torpedoes.

Japanese CAs are the exception they can act as BB killers, plus the torps are nice too, I didn't like American ships they have lots of guns but I flet like I was just shooting spitballs at anything larger than a CA.
