already having an o3ds with gateway, if i want to shortcut process, can new3ds be downgraded to 9.2 (softmod) and emunand set up on this for a new3ds below sys firmware 11.0?

i just want to test roms and have an existing GW and o3ds on 4.2 sys nand

So I keep reading that you need to actually own the DLC in the Wii U to use it, but no one says how to actually get it working. What do I have to do to use my DLC on my loadiine games?

That's what I did.
But the format of the redNAND comes afterwards.
So I always have to reboot the rednand and format it twice again with going through the start setup (name, date, clock, internet etc.)

So what reason is there to switch to whatever the new CFW is from rxtools? Just started using my 3DS again thanks to 7th Dragon leak and I'm on the current firmware for emunand.

I'm looking through the guide and I don't see anywhere where it says to format your rednand AFTER you already made emuNAND_formatted.bin

Doesn't the guide tell you to downgrade from 11? I'm not sure what the issues with downgrading from 9.2 are since I've only done it on 10.7 and 11.0.

There is absolutly nothing written from updating to 11.

I had 10.1 and downgraded to 9.2 in part 2.
Did part 3 to run the redNAND.
Now I did section 1 of part 4 and stuck in the downgrade of section 2.

I always get the error message like in OP pic. (except one time the message was in english)

if you followed part 3 you have a firmware.bin
step 28 of part 3 says to update so that means 11.0

Has the loadiine stuff been updated since the 5.5.1 leak? If it ever does, will updating just involve replacing the files in the SD card?

What do I do about this infinite 3DS-with-red-lines screen? The CIA I installed from was already cryptofixed, and I can't repair from eShop because it's from a different region. I know I've asked already, but I've looked feverishly in the OP and found nothing...

1. Copy firmware.bin from the Luma3DS NTR Firmware zip to the /luma/ folder on your SD card

Just started the process and when trying to install menuhax, the installation failed. The guide I'm following doesn't say what to do if that happens, and doesn't mention anything about it failing in the troubleshooting section either. Any ideas on what it could be, and what I should try?

Some of them genuinely thought Gateway was required and they were glad Gateway exists. They used to publicly advertise Gateway on GBAtemp for free and defend it even though other people tried to explain them why it was bad. Since January 2015 they just shied away and started to pretend they never said anything like that.

go into themes menu at least once then exit it. itll create the data needed then it will work when you retry. the error message literally tells you this btw.

It genuinely doesn't. It just says "An error occured. If this is an actual issue and not related to user failure, please report this etc"

How do I get games I installed through Shameless to work if they display an error on launch or get stuck on the 3DS loading screen? I can usually fix it by "repairing" the games via the eShop, but that doesn't work for out of region games.
