Pole of Agony does great damage against bosses but it has a years long cooldown meaning not even close dps to Frost Cloud.
Mobbing with Invocation is what's great about Warlock.

Follow the quest and go to maps around your level.

Dark Theluge does less dps than Pole of Agony, even including the cooldown on bosses.
You have no idea how good Invocation is when there is a high mob density.
Don't get me wrong, Warlock is probably the best wizard at bossing, but it's way batter at mobbing.
