Most of the maps play well enough. Not good, not horrible. Just terribly mediocre. Most made up of boxes and 90° angles.
Visually, they all have good skyboxes, but again, the maps themselves are mediocre. Boring industrial white wall blandness. How the art department managed to create so many similar looking maps is beyond me.

It's like 343 made 3 maps for arena and tweaked the design slightly for the sake of variety. Maybe they put most of their creative talents into warzone.

I think the warzones maps are great. Except for the city one.

-monument is retarded, why would you build a monument then surround it by walls and put a twisty road in it
-the main road itself doesn't lead anywhere. It just goes in a circle. How did any cars get there?? Why WOULD anyone drive there? To go in a circle around the Monument that they cant see because it's covered by walls?
Thankfully Apex, ARC, and darkstar are all gorgeous.

Stormbreak's nice too, but I don't really enjoy it. It's the blandest of the bunch.
I'd really like to see something crazy and unique for the next map. Set somewhere absolutely alien. Not just the Desert/Snow/Jungle stuff that we could just as easily see on earth.

I'll never understand why 343 thought making Skynet in space was a good idea. AI's turning on their creators is the oldest sci-fi plot there is, right next to alien invasions be thwarted by a super secret program thats totally not XCOM.
It's pretty sad that 343 just keeps fucking up like this. They had some good maps for Halo 4, gave them some life and great sky-boxes.

They should remake Waterworks from H2 for Warzone but make it twize the size.
