It seems like Archaon will have the normal endgame problem of no real challenge, whereas everyone else has to deal with his doomstacks.

I wish capturing a settlement would light up all it's territory. There are big mountain ranges in the east and I really want to see them.
I was lucky to grab the castle and it has a fantastic access to mines. Boosted my economy right up

Archaon showing up with a doomstack makes sense. The Chaos Wastes are nebulous, and there are literally hundreds of thousands of warriors lost int time and space wandering them, seeking glory and power.

But the Empire and Dwarves pulling that many troops out of their asses makes no sense.

Can be rebuilt be anyone, Regional occupation restrictions apply.

It can always be rebuilt if you could normally occupy the settlement. If Chaos raze a settlement, it will continuously spread Chaos corruption in the province, I think.
