also both outfits are different and the obi is colored by two materials. I will fix the colors whenever I'm fucked enough to do it but mesh fixing and pantsu removal are beyond me.

I had noticed the materials and that bothered me too, but I'm behind on Maker May as it is so I gotta fix that first. I've 100%'d Dark Souls so AA2 could be my time sink again come June.

There is also that part from the belt thing that goes over to the chest, half dress state only removes the bra support without moving the clothes aside like in the mask version, and removing the skirt gives an invisible body like the maid outfits.

All things considered, wouldn't be easier to just emove the mask from the other outfit?

it's a compromize between being able to apply the texture to the whole outfit and being able to color parts of it differently. For example if you make the kimono and obi the same material you'll be able to color them both with the custom texture but lose the ability to assign different colors without one.
Overall you'd be able to salvage a decent version or two from both masked and non-masked versions. Torn sleeves would probably stay though because I imagine fixing them requires close to as much work as making the outfit itself..
