what i hear from ramp druids is that soggoth helps a lot against e.g. tempo mages
if you're staring down a flamewaker a mana wyrm and a conjurer'd polymorph in their hand, a lot of the time whatever taunt you lay will just eat shit and die (and you along with it)
soggoth guarantees either they X-for-1 trade into it or you get to have an attack step to clear flamewanker, both of which are good
also useful against random controlcucks to just reliably 5 them every turn

I can't understand him being good vs removal but his body doesn't seem big enough for 9 mana. Just feels like sunwalker, bog creeper, and ancient of war can take just as man hits as him for less mana.

I just can't see any reason to spend 1600 dust or 9 mana for him compared to say tirion, or ysera and n'zoths crazy value or either rags huge swings in tempo

I played against a C'thun warrior as control priest
The game went to fatigue, but I managed to get the golden monkey with shifting shade.
So I play the monkey when we're both out of cards and I get the twin emperor vek'lor.
To my surprise, when I played it I got 2 emperors, even though I never had a c'thun in my deck. Working as intended? Is it just because I got his monkey, and the game assumed the player who has the monkey had a c'thun

Monkey didn't give me c'thun, I never had the card. But I did earlier play cards that would have buffed my c'thun if I had one.

Monkey gave me twin emperor. and when I played it I got 2 emperors.

I also didn't have elise starcaller, that was the warriors card.

has anybody had any ladder success with Yogg-Rogue? I'm thinking something like pic related.

The idea is to control the board with minions and spells as removal, until you can draw into Yogg as your hail mary if you are losing the game. Sprint is there to accelerate the draw, Journey is there for extra minions and because it's a spell to fuel Yogg, Teacher is there for board control synergy with spells, Xaril for extra spells and potential shadowstep memes. The rest are just useful Rogue staples.

Anyone have any suggestions or have used similar decks?
