Yeah, wall detection for enemy attacks is absolute BS in this game. I've been killed by lances poking through solid walls am still too used to enemies being limited by their environment at least a bit, too.

Differences is D&D gives you one shot per attunement and a ton of slots, while DaS1 and 2 give you a lot of slots per attunement and less slots.
