I remember in NV I downloaded a mod that added a ton of new weapons to the game (some of which were very over powered)
and several times I ran into enemies using them.

But then I rigged it
and it rigged me back

Is it just me or can you not assign companions to settlement tasks after you've reached max affinity? I don't know maybe it was just a glitch in my game. It was a long time ago and I haven't experienced it on any save files since.

The only thing that saved me and Kent in that fight was that I had expressly saved up a critical shot and had a six crank laser musket ready. He still survived the initial headshot and I needed to blitz him with a stun-pack modded sword to paralyze him for the whole fight.

No way to make 64bit havok animations yet.

Is there any way to change a settlers face to give them facepaint permanently? By this I mean, using the console, and not a full mod. any use of SLM command on a settler will either temporarily change their face, or not change it at all. I can alternatively call up their refference, duplicate them and make the change there, but it never changes the actual settler once its been disabled. Ive checked the youtube videos and forums and nothing is working. Does anyone have any ideas?

there was a version of texture optimization project on the nexus that was all packed as a ba2, currently using it and it helps me play smoothly on my laptop and doesn't rape my load times, I think it might have been removed because I can't find it anymore

it "works" sometimes no changes will occur to the NPC face at all, other times it will change, but it will revert upon saving and reloading, so its not permanent, It's a good thought but that's the first thing I tried.
