How important is maxing BB sockets?

I have his special maxed but only has 2 anti-lock and 5 heal. Trying to go with anti-lock/CD sockets but the damn CD never dropped once.

Does 30% more health make that much of a difference?

Not if you're running double Kami

Not if you have Gloom sockets on a double Enel team. You literally can't die until BB gets below 20%, so more health doesn't really help.
