Dota 2 - /d2g/

You know how typical custom "dota 2" maps are uninspired and just end up being boring and directly worse versions of the original map, because they never innovate or do anything interesting?

I've twice now had dreams of playing on a mystical Dota map in a far land away, with the oddest of mechanics that I don't understand myself yet. It's still five versus five, and all heroes are in the pool as would be natural, but there are some very large changes.

I think it's good as it is. With aether lens it has a good cast range and unpurgable -120 damage is insane. But reddit and pros will continue to ignore it because Bane needs to setup kills in the early game instead of crippling right clickers in teamfights.

Should I quit? I haven't played in almost an entire year due to IRL stuff. I was going to come back soon within about a month but now I am thinking I should maybe just quit permanently because of all these shit updates.

Started playing over 4 years ago, makes me kinda sad to quit. But I've noticed a decline in the game ever since the 6.8x patches, and more and more cosmetics that spew shitty particle effects all over the screen.
