>get special edict >not one but TWO errors had to be fixed in text file before it worked Bravo Paradox
Charles Garcia
Are space torpedos really that good?
I'm still on early tech and my torpedos aren't doing shit unless they're in mass numbers.
Noah Robinson
You mean titanic beast right?
Landon Martin
Corvettes should be able to fly down on planets and fight there as well with ground armies where range doesn't matter so kinetics get an advantage. Missiles could maybe do too much damage to infrastructure, so you don't want those there.
Anthony Wilson
I don't think the Corvettes are fitted for atmospheric travel. They'd be too heavy for most worlds.
Christian Parker
Is end game fixed?
Dylan Gomez
>imblying I dont think your mother is fitted for atmospheric travel
Kayden Evans
How big is a Corvette anyway?
Isaac Wright
only changes are that the AI will react approprately to crises now, they're probably saving up the event chain fixes for the final patch release
Matthew Sullivan
about the size of a small space ship
Robert Carter
mom sized
Elijah Hughes
>now have to spend the first 100 years grinding tech if i dont want inferior tech compared to all the 1 planet shitters when i start blobbing the fuck paradox
Alexander Diaz
the the fighter/bombers/scouts are hardly noticeable on screen so probably pretty damn huge, actually
Joseph James
>Corvettes are 152cm Must be why they're so evasive.
Samuel Richardson
>comparing size to a highly variable concept of a space faring object >manlet mom
Matthew Butler
>He thought it was height
Parker Hughes
how long after you get the echoes from space event does it take for the scourge to show up
Elijah Morris
>womanlet*
Ryder Baker
How much beasts can you recruit from one planet?
Brody Diaz
>implying
Oliver Ward
So by using Soviet tactics with Corvettes, I'm systematically genociding 21,000 of my own species per ship destruction?
Off to make Auschwitz-class Corvettes.
David Thomas
>her >creating unity by tearing down borders
...
Anthony Rogers
>your mom When will she learn?
Christian Collins
If you go torpedos go all the way and preferably in small mounts (dodge corvettes). Fro big numbers to overwhelm point defence if it appears.
Jose Robinson
3 But you can get them from the first planet you colonize if you're lucky.
Luis Williams
Depends on setting. Altough what the fuck is corvette anyway? Why would you choose smallest class naval ships? Why not just go with frigates like every other game dev? What the fuck, Paradox? In EVE frigates are 50-80m longest axis, battleships 2-3km, in Warhammer largest battleships are about 8-9km, frigates/destroyers around 250-400m.
Christopher Martin
>barrel mom Even worse Its 40k size mate, they ram each other with 15 kilometer size Battleships...those collisions would put nukes to shame by sheer kinetic energy
Gavin Wilson
oy vey let's open those borders
David Collins
about tree fiddy
Leo Sanders
because torpvettes sound better than torpates
Julian Reyes
Never.
Jack Diaz
>that ending fucking kek
Lucas King
They're alright.
Kevin Hernandez
Why not have more than 4 fucking ships
Leo Gonzalez
Well the thing is that here you just started exploring space. You're at the very beginning of the time where space exploration is actually feasible. Till then there was no reason to design huge space ships. Starting with small shit makes sense seeing how you need to produce a lot of them.
John Brooks
>find pre-sentient species, first one in a long while >get excited, take a look at them >they are fit to be nothing more than slaves >individualist so I can't even do that
why
Asher White
Why would you need a tech advantage to beat a 1 planet shitter?
John Hughes
>frigate being the smallest >not torpedo boat
Anthony Ross
Can't I cause an artificial extinction without conquering and purging?
Like, for example, Death Stars or towing an asteroid and putting it on a course for impact.
Luis Howard
Give them Strong and the one for +15 % minerals and you get mineral extracting beasts with base +20 % happiness.
Jeremiah Young
doesnt matter it's a handicap they didnt even bother to put a rational spin on more planets and pops magically make technology cost more? the fuck?
Gabriel Foster
Uplift them and add Industrious+Strong to them.
Only added industrious to my first rpole species, but both on the second.
They'll be happy on their mining planets.
>individualist so I can't even do that You don't need to enslave them, just own their means of production
Matthew Williams
>towing asteroids Someone post that Veeky Forums pasta.
Jaxon Moore
DLC :^)
Daniel Collins
>slave happiness mattering
Logan Myers
At 1000 pop and 100 planets, e.g. all shit 10 size planets, the new changes break even. If you prioritize half way decent planets the new changes will give you faster research.
Brody King
You know what? Communist citizens are slave so of course happiness matter :^)
Jace Wood
>towing an asteroid >not moving a wormhole at .11c towards Mercury >not moving its twin portal at .11c towards enemy planet >not launching mercury at .22c at the enemy world >not sending in mineral harvesters for all those sick rare earth metals, diamonds, and other shit now exposed and floating about space
Grayson Brooks
>will give you faster research once they're built up ftfy Going for early blob means you'll be catching up all midgame. Which is good.
Juan Davis
Well realistically speaking 40k just goes way too far, how are you supposed to maintain/repair such things.
In my opinion space warships would go to 500-1000 meters tops while commercial freighters would end up ridiculously big.
What do you fellas think, how big will they make em?
Jeremiah Reed
About bus sized, consisting of a bucket of ball bearings strapped to an engine and a guidance system.
Hunter Martin
>when an alliance comes together to fuck shit up
Alexander Lee
Does this work for space pirates?
Jose Ortiz
Is this compatible with the CODEX version?
Colton Hill
Disregarding all roleplaying aspects, what is best combination of ethos and government after patch?
William Lopez
Yes. I am one. Should be. I use Codex and it works.
Kayden Murphy
Same as before. Collectivist-materialist + your pick of pacifist or militarist.
Jeremiah Perry
bless you user and the user that uploaded it
Liam Walker
40k is ott, but no more than star wars
Xavier Cox
Pacifist-Collectivist with moral democracy I think, but I'm not sure.
Elijah Lopez
What is this? Starships for ants?
Cooper Allen
Does anyone know if 1.1 fixes sectors finally?
Seriously, this should be their #1 priority.

> Athallids I rekt them in my game too, good times
100 years later they are known in the galaxy primarily as the xeno whores that scrub out a marginal existence on my fleetbase planet
Liam Edwards
Sounds unprofitable to me, we dont use small tugs for naval transportation Individualist plus anything
Spiritualist gives 10 happiness for 1 pip, Materialist 5 research plus meticulous trait Xenophobes give ya 10 happiness for 1 pop slot and freedom to purge own genemodded pops Peaceful gives 20% happiness gov
Benjamin Bailey

Liam Long

Gabriel Scott
Wrong, fanatic is 15 and spiritualist is 10% because Grand Design on Void Clouds
Tyler Anderson
>Civilization
Can anyone recommend good mods for Civ V? Or some that a bit more of complexity to the game, like resources and stuff. I think not many people care anymore...
Elijah Campbell
>Sector >Respect Tile Resources setting will now prevent sector from building the wrong type of building for a tile regardless of special circumstances >Improved the way sectors determine which resources the country needs when constructing buildings >Fixed a bug where sector AI would move Pops back and forth >Fixed budget issues that were preventing sectors from properly managing spaceports and construction ships
>Fixed a bug where military focused sectors would not build military stations >Fixed an issue where the AI would not enslave any Pops
Robert Fisher
>symbols of domination Wut
Andrew Gutierrez
Nah, its Map the Stars edict from unique tech 20% survey bonus 10% anomaly bonus and it stacks with meticulous
Gabriel Clark
Ah okay
Are there any other notable ethos specific event bonuses that are basically guaranteed?
Do sectors still build ridiculous amounts of robots? It took me forever to take that land back after the AI rebellion.
Joshua Jones
khajiit race fucking when
Parker Cruz
Light cav mod seems kind of interesting, but most of the war mechanics mod change too many things in a way I don't like even though they have some cool stuff.
The light cav mod adds a line of fast moving anti archer unit. They have a special modifer that gives them extra damage vs ranged units.
Chariot>Skirmish Cav>Light Cav>Helicopter
I pilfered some stuff from it while working on my own mod that I'll continue working on in maybe july.
There was one mod that adds a shit ton of resources, but I think that was going to far. Like every unit requires resources.
Kayden Rogers
>theocratic republic nerfed Did anyone even use it
Jaxson Bennett
