Thanks user. I really like the 88, but the 105 packs more of punch while not suffering from accuracy or penetration issues. I'm a bit short on silver at the moment because I had to buy equipment for a lot of tanks, so I think I'll stick with the 88 for now.

Strongly agree with you there. And not only does it look great, but it plays fantastically too. I had a Panther for ages and I just couldn't adapt to its playstyle at all, so I sold it for a JPanther and I'm loving it.

Requirements for the console players are 10k xp the first week, then 20, then 30, then 40, then 50. Its easy as piss.

It's one of the highest quality documentaries ever made, which is impressive enough by itself, but it was also released whilst most of the first hand witnesses were still alive. Interviews from Speer, Colville, Galland, Dönitz, LeMay, Mountbatten, Traudl Junge.

It's probably the best TV series ever produced, hands down. Even amongst things that aren't documentaries. It's flawless in pretty much every regard, was remastered somewhat recently, and should be watched by anyone and everyone that wants to know more about WWII.

The best thing is the attention to detail and how it covers virtually everything from the rise of the nazis to the atom bombs, even covers the Pacific war pretty well which is impressive considering British bias (see how forgotten the Korean War is in British culture)
