Using a warp scroll

With a bow equipped your attacks, including poison ticks, deal double damage on flying mobs. Detonate trap is 350% vs flying, and claymore is 600% vs flying, and both probably stacks with bow modifier. Most flying mobs are low HP and just die to oblique, and if they actually have relevant amounts of HP you can just Wugong Gu them. You might be one of the best equipped classes to kill flying monsters, you don't get to complain.

Not him, but level 280 Doppelgoon here. Throw spear is really good when you get it at C3 and it carries you up to Dragoon, but you stop using it once you get there because you don't need it anymore.

Hoplite3 only works with Doppelgoon, otherwise it is kind of useless. Every other build uses Hoplite2 for Corsair2, Memenobi and Hoplite1 for Cata.
