Any effect not in Regret or Fecal is worth wearing, but really it depends on the hat as to whether or not you look plebtastic.
You mostly want to stay away from robo-hats, but a couple of them work well in sets. If your unusual and the rest of your gear mesh you're already ahead of the game. If the hat you buy is paintable it's easier to colormatch it into a set.
