Mash jump and you can climb straight up if you just move your most left and right. i put like an hour into learning how to Wall ride in the Alpha and got pretty god at it. 99% of Lucio players just sit on the ground and jump. I see them accidentally wall ride and they stop immediately like it scares them or something?
