Anyone else find the music in this series sub-par? I've never really been a fan of it. Sucks because the soundtrack is a big deal to me in games.

It really depends. Zones often have dull music, but monster themes are very good

I like some of the monster themes, but yeah, I don't really care too much about the music.

I agree, outside of the main theme MH music is just average.
They really manage to reuse them in those swing and jazz albums, though. Those are worth downloading.

very few monster fight themes are good and they get old fast

i much prefer to turn off the music and enjoy the actually crazy good ambiance and sound design

What is so wrong about Monsters fighting eachother again? In Tri they made Jho attack literally everything when it's hungry and it wasn't an issue

I find Jhen and his cohorts probably my favorite to mess around with dumb stunts.
