If you're talking about the more recent polls, sure. Originally though, they absolutely hated Rin and Haruka. I'm not sure what made them have a change of taste though.

MURAMASA IS THE BEST NEW WAVE!

EV is the only game that's a beach party. All the others have story elements in them, especially the 3DS ones. (BA doesn't count, it's a spin-off).

EV also does have a story but it's largely unimportant. The only real development is given to the Hebijo girls.

Imu's definitely in my top 30, not counting New Waves.

It could have been a lot more if it was actually focused on being a ninja. EV is basically "beach party with some spooky encounters about our dead parents/instructors/siblings". EV had a lot of dumb shit too, for that matter:

>Hanzo barely does anything
>Katsuragi sinks further into the "lolboobs" and still hasn't gone out to restore her parents' honor

I'd argue Burst was the only game with a story that mattered. SV was a bunch of uncanon, pointless stories (minus Gessan's, supposedly), and SK2 flopped all over the place (but it did try to be serious at least).

All I want is to see the squads actually put out in the field (much like Rin when she was younger), and give us some serious story with a heavy helping of Yoma munching on some girls.

SV takes the option of every story being a little bit canon, but none are wholly canon. The Hebijo story where they kill everyone is proof of that.

The way I understand it is Gessens' motivations from their storyline is true, crimson squad training the hanzo students in the hanzo story is true, the Hebijo team self-imploding but learning to get along with each other is true and various bits if the crimson squad story is true, such as taking down Dogen (again).

Rin has done well in every poll she's been in since burst. Haruka has been going up since SV.

Daidouji is just a shitty character and I'm glad Japan doesnt like her because every time she has appeared in every game, she's been terrible.
