Well, that's a bit of a shame.
It was pretty ambiguous what his intentions were. I wouldn't necessarily say he was antagonistic, but it was very unclear that he was an ally of Hydaelyn. desu I preferred it that way and was kinda disappointed that all it amounted to was a servant of the mother crystal testing you, rather than a (finally) independent entity with his own goals and ambitions to put an end to the Dragonsong War and free his children from conflict.

The english script is awful. It's a pathetic, irritating attempt at "olde english" that succeeds at doing nothing other than grating on one's nerves as they hear "must needs" for the ten billionth FUCKING TIME.

This legitimately bothers me, it's the one thing about the language that has stood out most.
He came across as fairly unfriendly/bitchy, but I didn't get the feeling he was an enemy. Sense tells you that someone who can strip away your plot armor on a whim isn't your enemy if you're still alive. It's been a while, so I could be wrong, but I think your character also doesn't react to him as though he's a serious threat.
I kind of liked that he took the form of a tsundere pet afterward.

I don't recall stating anything along those lines, but if you're going to attempt to give a localization some fancy, flowery language, at least inject some fucking VARIETY into the dialogue. Nothing is more irritating than hearing the exact same phrases used over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
