Child bride Bastet is much worse. Nothing light is as good as Vishnu. Orphalion and Eschamali are good monsters but they aren't as well suited to this purpose.

Awoken bastet is better at killing trash that's not worth mentioning. ie: 1TPA matches with skill use and 5-7 combo.

For not using skills, 9+ wood orbs, or 8+ combo he's always better. Not being skill reliant also means you get to inherit a good active on Bastet.

ace bastet has a better multiplier under the same activation conditions, doesn't have retarded AS activation requirements, neither of those having hp/rcv multipliers.
the subpool is a complex matter since this rem has a lot of great stuff for light bastet, but green still has wonderful stuff that doesn't have a light counterpart like vishnu (with light bastet you must go TPA since her multiplier is shit, and this makes escha a weaker choice(if ace bastet had something like escha, now that would be goat since his LS requirements make forgetting TPAs and going OE an option))
