it's a shame the weapon itself is awkward though (12 str 17 dex but it gets higher str scaling when upgraded?) but its cool for hyper mode i guess

It's more of a challenge, NG+ and ++ aren't exactly hard when you've got all your items. It;s been like that for me, at least. Dunno how anyone else feels about it.
