CS is absurdly simple. The economy is flowchart, if you're playing at a high level you use only a small percentage of available weapons, the gameplay is stodgy because you run into five or so choke points on two routes so you learn what to do at each one,and at some point it's just a twitch shooter where you try to jump past a corner and get a head shot before somebody head shots you. The games are usually two minutes long and they almost never have remarkable conclusions.

Mercy has the most single-target heal, Lucio has constant heal for anyone near him. Zenyatta's heal is a complement to his team while he shits damage and marks for death with his black orb.

Mei's ice block should not contest the point. The whole point is that in order to hold back a capture/push you are vulnerable and exposed and Mei just shits all over that.
Mercy and Lucio probably heal about equally overall. Lucio is spread out to the whole team and he brings the speed boost utility. Zen can afk heal by plopping orbs on people which allows him to snipe. But Lucio can also afk heal the whole team. Mercy is the only one who has to hold heal all the time so I don't think she's as useful really.
lucio and mercy are about as good as each other on balance, zen isn't very good for a couple of reasons at the moment
